BCom UWA

Mr Mel Ashton was appointed in November 2021 (ie on incorporation). Mr Ashton holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia, is a former fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He has over 45 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant specialising in Corporate Restructuring and Finance and as a Professional Company Director.

This experience is complemented by his strategic approach and extensive business network. His former roles include Director of the Hawaiian Group of Companies and Chairman of ASX listed companies Gryphon Minerals Ltd and Venture Minerals Ltd, President and Director of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Vice President and Director of Fremantle Football Club Ltd and Chairman of Cullen Wines (Australia) Pty Ltd.

Mr Ashton is currently a director of Fluence Corporation Ltd and Chairman of Alita Resources Ltd.

Mr. Jardine has extensive experience in the resources industry, spanning early-stage exploration through to managing multi-operational corporations, business development and mergers and acquisitions. He has taken projects from discovery through resource growth, feasibility studies, equity funding, debt financing, project development and operations.

Most recently Mr. Jardine was managing director of De Grey Mining Limited, successfully taking the world class Hemi Gold Project from discovery through to financing and environmental approvals prior to the company being taken over by Northern Star Resources for $6 billion.

Mr Canterbury is a seasoned mining executive with extensive experience across the full lifecycle of resources projects from discovery through to operations both in Australia and globally. Peter was the CFO at De Grey Mining from February 2021 until its takeover by Northern Star in May 2025. During that time he was integral to the development of the Hemi project including funding of the Company consisting of A$1.2B of equity and credit approved A$1.1B of Project Debt.

His previous roles include being CFO at Sundance Resources for six years until 2013. During his time at Sundance, he was also Acting Chief Executive in the recovery of the company following the tragic plane crash which killed the Company’s entire Board and Chief Executive. He was Chief Executive of Bauxite Resources from 2013 until 2016 and Managing Director of Triton Minerals from 2016 to 2021. He is currently an Independent Non-executive Director of Unico Silver (ASX: USL).

BEc, BSc (Hons) Geology

Mr Wilson is a geologist with over 25 years’ experience with extensive gold and base metals exploration experience throughout Australia and Chile. Mr Wilson graduated from Australian National University with an economics degree and an honours science degree, majoring in geology and is a current member of AusIMM. He has played key roles in discovering and defining more than 1.2 million ounces of gold and over 172 million pounds of copper globally with ASX listed junior companies.

In 2016 through leadership of a dedicated exploration team resulted in being awarded the inaugural NSW Mineral Council Explorer of the Year. Mr Wilson has held various Board positions with ASX listed companies, including executive Technical Director and Managing Director. He was most recently the Managing Director of Helix Resources Ltd and a current Non-Executive Director of Midas Minerals Limited.

BA LLB

Ms Cramer is a corporate lawyer with experience in both the listed and unlisted space, advising entities across a variety of different sectors, but with a focus on mining and resources.
Most recently, Ms Cramer was Joint Company Secretary at ASX300 Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL). Prior to this, she was an Associate at Bellanhouse Legal and HWL Ebsworth Lawyers. Ms Cramer specialises in corporate and commercial transactions, including capital raisings, IPOs and backdoor listings, and corporate governance issues.
